Welcome to my website! I am so happy to offer you paintings that I believe you will enjoy for years to come. Oil and watercolor are my medium of preference. Please check with me about painting your kids, pets, home, favorite vacation spot, still life, garden or whatever interests you.
I am painting pets on slate also! People love these! They are painted in oils and come with a leather hanger. These make great gifts for those who are hard to buy for and for all who love their pets. They will last for generations just as all oil paintings.
It is my desire to have every customer be completely thrilled with their purchase. Every customer is very important to me. As a result, a high percentage of my business is from repeat customers and referrals.
I would welcome the opportunity to earn your trust and provide you with artwork that you would be proud to own and display. Enjoy browsing my gallery and please feel free to email or call me if you have any questions.

A Little History About Wendy
Wendy was born in Alaska, the third of four children. She grew up in an Air Force family, living in many places around the world. As she grew, Wendy’s appreciation of beauty that surrounded her grew as well. Her appreciation for the old-world charm of the antiques that her parents collected through her growing years is reflected in many of her paintings.
This background formed the basis for her love and appreciation of art. Her first painting class in high school fueled her desire to pursue art classes. As it came time to go to college, the transition was eased by varied involvement in the Arts, which included art classes as well as participation in the arena of Musical Arts. Here she would earn a BA in Fashion Merchandising and an AA in Business Administration. Following her education she married her husband Gary with whom she has raised two sons. She now owns and operates a successful Antique Business.
Wendy recently worked as a Certified Designer and Framer for a custom art and framing company. Matting and framing the art of others recalled the thrill of creating her own and stirred in her the desire to paint once again. She enjoys capturing the beauty of nature in her paintings, including pastoral landscapes and animals. Many of these depictions she presents in the chiaroscuro style of times past. Her appeal for the antiquity of things is a natural influence on her painting style. It gives her work legitimacy that carries it above a mere pastime, as it is a genuine reflection of the artist and the things she knows and loves.
